yo! i go by strixx or strixx-variaa online. i work in the sporthorse industry irl. i love drawing and rping horses; doing that with my best friend as a kid is like 90% of my core memories lol i don't currently own my own horse, but i have some cats. i feel like my urge to draw or rp tends to kind of inversely correlate to if i've got a horse irl i'm actively campaigning (and how well that's going, lol), so here we are! i created this place because i feel like i haven't been able to find a nice, active, low-key realistic horse rp in a few years. i thought i found one a little while ago, but it fizzled out fairly quickly. hopefully that's not a bad omen haha but y'know if you can't find it ya gotta make it yourself my favorite type of horse to draw is probably an arabian or arabian-looking thing because they're so expressive, but irl my favorites are the warmbloods from any number of the european studbooks. i'm really into jumper and eventer breeding rn, partly due to my work but also i just find that whole process so interesting! i have an ever-growing, very well-loved collection of hypothetical harpg pedigrees collecting dust on my hard drive because i have more ambition than i have time to actually sit down and draw :'D my favorite books include the redwall series, the first like three or four books of the dune series, and like, name of the wind (rip) my favorite movies include pride & prejudice 2005 because i am at my heart a really basic white bitch lmao also jurassic park, what a classic, and the lotr trilogy because they are literal masterpieces how did you find this site? welcome! i can't wait to rp with you  |

Hello! The name's Sooty or Rooster or SootyRooster lol I've rp'd verrrrry little, kind of makes me nervous due to me being a scatterbrain and word vomiting with zero sense of punctuation. But I'm super excited to start fresh here  a lil about me; I also don't own a horse, I have two small dogs and a large cat, I used to have betta fish and wish to have some more someday. I work at a barn with miniature horses and normal sized ones as well, but my favorite has to be an American Shetland named Rascal (yes he is a rascal). One day I dream of being a mini horse trainer, I've shown once about two year ago and got hooked. I also like to advocate, if you can't/don't want to ride a big horse a mini is the way to go! not as big into reading as I was as a kid, but I did read the heck out of Marguerite Henry's books (Misty of Chincoteague, King of the Wind, etc), any informational horse or dog book I could get my grubby lil hands on, and a loooot of WWII historical fiction. every time I get asked what my favorite movie is I go blank, BUT lucky for y'all I remembered; Fantastic Mr. Fox, Mulan(1998), and Secretariat! I love stopmotion movies and animated movies too. while on the subject, I also love the TV shows Dragon Prince, Bluey, and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood (wow what a range). As much as I love horses, I mainly draw dogs. When I do draw a horse, it's probably going to be a stock horse (love me some chonky pons)! A lot of my characters are realistic looking in terms of markings n stuff, but recently started to make sparkle characters. When I joined the internet sparkle OCs weren't the rage anymore and I'm still upset little me thought they were cringe /sob I found this site through strixx-variaa dA post! can't wait to start brainstorming my character, hope to have lots of fun here <3 |

Hi there! I go by Free online.
I used to RP a lot but it has been a while since I was on an active forum. I am however an admin for the ARPG, Realm of Elephae on deviantart where I follow Strixx (and how I therefore found the forum).
I have 2 kids, 2 cats, and an amazing hubby who is supporting me through trying to get help for my ongoing mental health difficulties.
I enjoy a lot of shows including Miraculous Ladybug, The Dragon Prince and Stranger Things.
I don't know what else to say so that's that. Looking forward to RPing with you all!

Hello!
I'm known as Faeriiefox, but go by the nicknames Faeriie and Fox (duh) most often than not. I've also been known as Thoxic, Thoxfox and Demonfaeriee over different rp forums and online sites, but now it's only Faeriiefox.
I have roleplayed in different formats ever since I was about 13 years old or so, and been doing art since 2007 or so, mostly in the form of photomanipulations, as I haven't started to draw for real until my broken foot happened in 2020.
I own a closed species (horse related), called Fjaerils, which I have a lovely little discord community around.I work with special needs kids and teenagers irl, and I live in Sweden, so I apologize if my english isn't quite up to code at times ^^
I enjoy books, games, my community, art and music. I have a cat named Strössel (means sprinkles in swedish) who does the "abada wiiiie" all day long and messes up my art-muse by wanting to use me as her bed.
Hoping to try this forum out and see if I can get my muse for forum rpg back! It's been a while <3

Hello everyone! I'm byrch (like the tree, birch), but am also cool with being called Bri I went to college for horses yet got a job in quality assurance in food processing. I've done roleplay since being a little kid with my best friends in real life, and then evolved to forums (did a wild horse rp that I really miss) which brought me to some dA based rp's (Elaphaea, FoV/rukaans, HARPG). I love rp'ing and telling the stories of characters and seeing where it'll go! I love horses! Sadly don't have one of my own (so expensive), and my instructor moved out of state so I have to find a new barn/instructor to take lessons with. I love the look of the typey exotic desert horses (I LOVE akhal tekes and marwaris) but I also LOVE fluffy chunky war ponies/small drafts! I love to read, as well as game and do art. Finding the energy and time to juggle them all is tricky. Favorite games would be Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, Zelda, Sly Cooper. Favorite books would have to be The Realm of the Elderlings Series (Robin Hobb), Dune (Frank Herbert), almost anything by Anne Bishop. Movies are really hard to narrow down, but I enjoy watching horror movies and it's so hard to find good ones! So if you know any good horror movies (or books!) I'd love recommendations! I'm also in a book club with work peeps, so if you need book recommendations I have a few. Back to movies, just to name a few I can think of on the fly, Black Beauty (the good 90's version one), Little Women (90's version, haven't watched the newest one yet), The Last Unicorn, Legend (80's fantasy), The Neverending Story, and so many others my brain can't think of. I found this through Strixx over on dA! I'm very excited for this! |
