Appearance:

Short with a bit of bone in her legs, full flaxen double mane. Has bit of a hay belly. Light underbelly with a shaded topline, nose and skin around the eyes has dark grey coloring with a white snip. Eyes are a rich chocolate color. Two socks on her forelegs and two pasterns on backlegs.

Personality:

Merry likes to go with the flow of things taking it easy. She prefers if others take the lead as she isn't confident in her own abilities to be responsible for a group. She doesn't sit quite though, if she doesn't like what you're telling her or appreciate the way things are running she will let you know! Due to being small she doesn't show her opinion much, staying safe by keeping her mouth shut. But dismiss her once, fine have it your way, dismiss her again and you'll find out why they say dynamite comes in small packages. Towards friends and horses that are close to her, Merry is friendly often taking younger horses under her wing. To acquaintances and strangers she is shy and reserved.

Brief History:

Born on a small farm in Kentucky, Merry was raised to be a child's pony due to her sweet nature and small frame. Unfortunately, the family hit hard times and had to sell the flaxen mare. She was bought by another farmer who was going to use her as a broodmare, so she was left in a pasture until he found a stud. Again hard times fell on her new people and she sold again. This time she was sold to a horse dealer who broke her to ride and sold her to Mr. Thackery for his show.
