Name: Regalio
Birth Season/Year: Spring 1875
Height: 16hh
Sex: Stallion
Coat Color: Chestnut-based fleabitten grey with bloodmark
Genetics: ee/Aa/Gg
Appearance:
Standing quite tall even for an arabian, the pale coat of the stallion is quite common for his breed, but something that have grown brighter over the years. He's the perfect example of a well bred arabian, with a short back, strong legs and a well arched neck. His head is well defined and chiseled, with large, chocolate brown eyes. Hard hooves carry him well over rock and ground, making him surefooted and agile in every step.
A deep chest gives plenty of space for alot of stamina and a strong voice. Mane and tail are of that typical arabian silky type, his just tends to be longer and thicker than most arabians, part of his genes, most likely.
Personality:
Regalio is a gentleman, out into every hoof and strand of hair. Stubborn, but kind to most other horses, as long as they treat him with just as much respect as he is giving them in turn.Albeit being family-oriented, he have yet to made a family for himself, he have more so looked from afar, not feeling he was quite ready for it. While others might have hurried along to get started in those aspects of life.
The kindness is not one to be easily abused, as he have never been afraid of protecting himself, both physically and mentally, and most would possibly call him a bit stoic and quiet. but at heart, he know who he is.
Brief History:
Regalio was sired by accident, by a young stallion they had yet to geld at the circus, as they thought him too young. The mare was one of the most prized mares of the group, and once they discovered that she was with foal, it was already too late. Letting it go to term, a performer fell in love with the colt once he was born, and he was kept intact, for the sole reason of possibly breeding him to some of the mares to be retired, for a new generation of show horses. Cheaper that way, even if this was rare in the circus, but he had a good build and mild temper with the mares and geldings.
As a yearling they started to train him, to keep him in the show where they could, so he could earn his keep just as the others, which they had no bigger issues with; Regalio have always been calm and polite, even with mares in heat or with new humans handling him. He was a performing equine when they were stranded, but didn't really miss the human interaction when he found himself without restraints on the beach that day.
