new foal announcement

Your thread's subject should be the parents' names in the format "Sire x Dam".
The description line should be the foal's: "Name | coat color sex".

For example:
- title: Jack x Jill
- desc.: John | bay colt

Either parent's player may post the announcement. The player of the other parent should "like" the announcement post as soon as possible to indicate that they agree with the foal's design. Once staff approves the foal, it can be seen as a sort of NPC by the dam's side until at least weaning (about two real months or half a game year). Any time after the foal is weaned, it can be posted in the Character Registry as an independent character.

[b]Mature Height:[/b] Most foals will finish out somewhere between their parents' heights, but some outliers may finish shorter or taller.

[b]Coat Color:[/b] No details, just generally what you'd call their color.
[b]Genetics:[/b] If you don't know horse genetics, don't worry; staff can help you with this.

This is kind of optional -- for example, if your foal is solid black with no particularly unique physical traits, there's no need to try and write an essay about it. We know what that looks like! Similarly, feel free to include image links for reference if you have a particular marking or coat shade in mind.
